Description
We got this guy on the very last day of the Baja Trip. We were late to our destination and were hauling ass. The only stops we made were for roadkills along the way. Brad's vehicle was ahead of ours, so he would call them out and we would pull over and collect. So Brad called out a horned lizard he saw on the road, Dad pulled over and I hopped out to get it. At first I thought it was another roadkill because he was all flattened out, but it turned out to be a perfectly find live one. This Coast Horned Lizard (Phrynosoma coronatum) was cool because we had never seen one so red before. Since we were late and hauling ass, I was worried I wouldn't get a chance to photograph it, and I wanted to soooo bad. However, when we stopped for gas, I quickly took some pics of it. Yay!

Interesting, this creature looks like dragon and turtle mix.
